This is a new handmade self-defense tool. The design is based on the yawara, an ancient Japanese fighting tool. Overall length is 5 3/4" from tip to end of lanyard tang. The tool is made from 19th century cutlery steel and retains its original hardened and tempered heat treatment. It also retains its genuine patina showing age and use from its previous life. The tool has a fluted hexagon shape. It retains some of its original makers mark which read, "HARRISON BROS" over "& HOWSON". It has a stainless steel split ring at the lanyard hole with a coyote brown 550 paracord lanyard strap. Comes with a handmade wet formed leather slip sheath that is sewn with blue and gray nylon thread and decorated with two metal concho's. Great for carrying in a pocket or handbag for emergency situations. $75 shipped within the US only. Payment by Paypal or USPS money order. Email me at billgoodwin1958@gmail.com

This thing is awesome. The overall design is about right for discreet carry, and the antique steel definitely gives it a cooler look than most yawara I've seen. I need to talk to a friend about your work, she could use a good problem solving tool.

Thank you. I would be happy to help your friend out. Every woman should have a "problem solving tool" handy at all times. But really, don't we all these days?
