Quick update;
My search will have to wait. I went to my local knife shop to check out the Spyderco Manix 2 their website said they had but didn't. While talking to the associate he hinted they just got in a few of the new Spyderco Smok.
I payed with it for a few minutes and decided I had to have it. It is everything I wanted except the extra durable steel and no bearings. It is an amazing flipper and I find the button actuated compression lock much easier to use than the axis style locks.
