My brother gave me what I think was an old small edger blade he found and I finally decided to do something with it today,it didn't hurt that I finally got some more cutoff disks .
I don't know what kind of steel it is, but it easily oil hardened ( if anyone has an idea what is commonly used for these things I'd like to know )

The overall length is 2-3/4 . I made the little bead out of a piece of bamboo trimming from my yard and torched it. It's got a few scratches I couldn't really get out, but I'm not worried as it'll just be a utility blade if I even keep it ( not sure what use I have for it but I was bored so I made it ) I suppose I could use it as a craft knife for trimming leather or something.
