Your hands are a little bigger than mine and the small is almost too small for me. I love my large. They are two very different knives in size and feel.

From the descriptions in your posts, I'd say to go with the small for office use. It's large enough to accomplish real work, but small and classy enough to not be intimidating. You could even take the clip off, put a clip insert on it, and put a fancy lanyard on it for classier pocket carry.
