• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

I posted this in shoptalk also but thought I would also post it here. So, here's my first go at a "Sharpfinger" style knife. It's 440c in 1/8" with desert ironwood scales. It's hollow ground, 7 3/4" OAL, 3 1/4" blade. What do y'all think of the hand rubbed flats and cork finished hollow? I think it looks fine but wasn't sure with the lines going opposite directions. Also, I had a tough time getting the front of the scales to look right with all the different lines on this knife. Anyway, it should make a good skinner. Let me know what y'all think.

You did a superb job on that little beauty. They are a lot harder to make than people realize. Very well done!

This was one of the more difficult small knives that I've done. There is a lot of things that you have to make flow together. Thanks for the kind words! I have another one profiled and was thinking of flat grinding it. Not sure how that would workout.
