Here is the first hunting style knife I finished. I also made the scales my self. its 1/8 blade 1095 steel. The one picture it kinda looks like the scales are separating from the blade i assure they are not lol i think its a shadow or something. Advice is greatly appreciated as I usually only do bushcraft knives.

Nice work man! How did you make those scales?
Also, Maybe it's just me, but I would add a choil at the flat portion below the ricassio or get the grind a bit further back towards the handle. That big blank portion doesn't help with the flow of the design. But again, I don't know a lot about hunting knife designs.

Nice job.

The things I see are the ricasso projecting below the edge. You already know that it makes sharpening the edge difficult - thus the curved web. It should be on the same line as the edge with a small choil at the end of the plunge. THe ricasso is also a bit overlength.

As a personal preference, acrylic and similar scales aren't good on field knives. It will dull, chip, and wear a lot faster in field use. Tough wood can still be very pretty.

Thanks for the advice I really appreciate it and i will def take it into account, the handles are not acrylic thought they are a bit softer as well so I am not worried about chipping and braking I took the same material and smacked it with a hammer after being in the fridge and also after heating up and the only thing that happened was they dented a bit. My nephew and my self came up with the way of making these so they are a prototype and not perfect but I feel that with a few more test batches they will be a good handle material. But then again lol I'm fairly new to all this.
