1st Khukuri Sighting In The Year 2000!

3 days ago a friend of mine showed me a movie in a cd - Austin Powers "The Spy Who Shagged Me" - I saw a Khukuri! That movie is banned in Malaysia!!!

My wife was watching a movie called "Basil" I think. There's a scene with two khukuris hung crossed on a wall and a character takes one and tries to attack Christian Slater. She said it was only for a second. She was shaking her head at me that she even knew what they were. Maybe my obcession is rubbing off.

 

This is a good thing, no? Maybe she will get infected too!

I have no idea how old Basil is. My wife's the one who saw it and I'm going by what she told me. I think it's a British movie.

It can't be too old if Christian Slater's in it.

I looked on reel.com. Its a 1998 movie that comes out on video in February. The director has an Indian sounding name.
