1st knives

Here are the first knives I've made. They are made from 3/4" steel cable, I' still need to put handles on(decided to use walnut). The heat treatment and temper already done. I wish my first looked that good. Wouldn't it have been easier to start with straight steel. Not that it looks like you needed to. Good Job

nice i have seen copper forged in on the spine with the cable to make a neat looking knife, good job

Hoping to get started on next knife soon. Im going to try 1095 and 15n20 to make a damascus cheifs knife for a doctor friend of mine, as soon as the metal comes in.
