1st post: The "IF ONLY/Frakenfolder" thread!

I will take a Benchmade 950 with M4 blade, AXIS lock, and 3D machined G10 scales.

Wait...I already have that. Ok, add a wave and harden the M4 to 65 and put a DLC coating on instead of the BK1 (I think). I already have a temporary wave put on so just need to get the blade hardened. I was going to make a wave on my mill out of 416 stainless that is nice and pretty but mine works so good I haven't felt the need to yet. Some bright G10 scales would be cool like red or blue but I wouldn't be able to re-create the machined grooves.

A skirmish in between the large and small size wise and an AXIS lock would be pretty spectacular.

I wonder how hard it is to convert a 3 AXIS mill into a CNC machine because I don't have the skills to pull off some of the things I would like.

2 somewhat different interpretations:

A real Rockstead at Sanremu prices :-)
A Spyderco Kiwi the size of the Military

Zero Tolerance/Jerry Busse collaboration!!

It would be manufactured by ZT here in Oregon, and it would look like a folder version of Jerry's SHBA!!

A 4.5" closed, three-blade, titanium-handled TL-29 type with a 1/8" thick spear main blade, a standard screwdriver blade that would fit the screws on my rifle, and a thin semi-wharncliffe fillet blade. All with titanium liners & titanium liner locks. Screw-together construction, since I'm really obsessive about "once-a-year take-aparts" for a soak & cleaning.

For something a little bigger, I'm actually thinking a lockback titanium Catbyrd, 154Cm or S30V blade, with a four-position lowrider clip.

While we're at it, I'll take a Kershaw Blur with no inlays. Integral one piece Ti framelock with a flipper and a Brend ground hand satin ZDP-189 blade. We'll keep the exact same profile and size specs of the original Blur and we'll take out the A/O and replace the pivot with Kershaw's new KVT washer pivot system featured in the Tilt at Blade. Hand carved pocket clip, anodizing, meltdown, and fizz treatment done by Matt Cuchiarra.

Titanium framelock military with D2 steel and sharpening choil, but that is right off the top of my head.

I'd like Kershaw to bring back the XXL (1416?)Starkey Ridge (most sexy blade ever) with an axis lock, keep the G-10 handles, and spydie hole in S30V.

Benchmade Rukus with a smoother lighter handle.
Cold Steel Pocket Bushman with a 5mm thick blade made of S30V.
Spyderco Police 3 G-10 with a 4mm thick blade and a thumbstud instead of a hole.

Three-bladed Wildcat Rigger pattern; Ti-masscus liners and bolsters; Tri-ad Locking spearpoint main blade (3.5" x 3/16"); double liner-lock pen and sheepsfoot secondary blades(2" x 3/32"); Carpenter Steel for all blades; jigged G-11 scales.

ZT 302 with g10 scales on both sides, a beefier axis lock with a thicker omega spring, no recurve and YXR-7 steel.
