1st purchase of 2014...a BK2

Thanks for the kudos!!!! The BK2 is actually almost too nice to use, but like Allen becker says... beat em up. LOL
This site has really improved my life with a passion, there are soooo many good people here it's hard to believe. I thank you all in many ways. MJ

I am a new member and the proud owner of a BK2 as we'll. was there any specific thread you followed to strip you knife? Yours looks like I want mine to look. I'm a little concerned about accidentally removing the logos from the blade, mine look like that are on top of the black coating.

Do a search on stripping blades and you'll see lots of threads. Most use some kind of chemical stripper, but some also use elbow grease and sandpaper.

The logo should be there after you strip the blade, but it will be shallow. If you want to deepen it so it shows up better, do some form of etching - whether electrical or pcb chemical.
