1st Spyderco? Which One?

Nah, you're not a real Spyderco knife addict unless you start from the Tenacious and ended up at.... Para 2. :)

Or you can be smart and start with the Para 2. Or a Manix 2 if that's more to your taste.

If you're willing to try other countries, the Sage 1 and the Stretch 2 are my other two favorites.

I agree completely, I think the Stretch would be perfect, and the Sage is way up there as well. Also, the Caly 3 or 3.5 are definitely worth considering.

Personally, I think that your first Spyderco should be a mid-backlock which they use most frequently, and probably something from Japan, since that is their original manufacturer with the most iconic designs. As previously mentioned, the Delica is a great intro, but if you want to go straight to the super high-end models, the Caly 3 CF or Stretch 2 in ZDP would be my biggest recommendations. I think those are some of the best representations of spyderco's designs

Thanks for the feedback everyone.

I have whittled it down to...

Sage 1
Delica
Manix2
UK Pen
Endura
