1st Time Camping !!!!

Can you believe my Sister-in-law had never been camping ! We had to fix that while they were visiting us in Canada eh !!!!
We started the afternoon with a trip on the water in some canoes...

The kids finding snakes right next to our tents did nothing to ease the Sis-in-laws nervousness....

With some Dutch courage inside her she soon started to forget her worries...

As the evening drew on it was time to get a fire going, forgetting my axe it was up to my Dumpster Mutt to chop up the fire wood...

With Bears and Cougars around we instructed our dog to go on night shift guard duty............she had other ideas !!!!!

Needless to say the Sis-in-law survived the night and come morning she was a seasoned camper......she was still not sure about the snakes though.....Oh well, can't win them all !!!!!!!!!

Great pics! Such a fun time lounging around the fire with a few beers and good company. That's what it's all about.

if your looking for a place with rivers to paddle in a canoe, forests and valleys to camp and trek through, skiing/snowboarding and some of the best fresh water and salt water fishing available..then come to bc :D
