1st Time Sheath Attempt

I think it looks good for a first try. I am sure your next sheath will look even better from all the knowledge you gained from making the first one.

Hey Brother... That is Bad A$$. VERY COOL!!

No kidding.. first one? Very good.

Forgive my ignorance.. but how did you stitch it? Sewing Machine? Or What? I have NO Clue as to how one would "Stitch" Leather.. I have no clue.

Do you have any "In Process" pictures?

Great Job and That "Fire Steel" holder idea is awesome.

Thanks for all the comments everyone. I just used a leather punch tool and some wax thread to stitch the sheath up. I don't have any production photos but I took these today to show a few more angles.

I think it looks great and as long as it works for you don`t worry if it`s a little rustic it would look that way after some use anyway right? .You should have seen my first ,I cut it up so no one could ever see it. Is the belt loop part held with snaps? I have done that before and if you put three in a triangle you would be amazed how hard you would have to pull to make it unsnap.

You should be nothing but proud about that sheath.

Looks like there was a lot of thought that went into your design. firesteel loop, fatwood loop, dangler...

MY hat is off to you with the results. Great job.
