2,000 post GAW

I'm in! That's pretty saweet with the wharncliffe blade too. I don't have any wharncliffes and would like to see what the fuss is all about

My only Barlow is a plastic handled imperial from the 60s that's seen much better days.
The wharncliffe blade really cinches it :)

Thank you Mark and for all the congrats from others. I don't often enter GAWs but this is a knife I've wanted but never had.

Today I came in from golf to find a package from Mark. It was WAY bigger than a small flat rate box. He's got "fragile" written all over it. So I am thinking I won a real fragile 77. [emoji5]️

So I unpacked the box and found a GEC Beer Scout Club glass tumbler with the 77 tube inside.

I was almost more delighted in the class. Don't have one. Got out a root beer and my Beer Scout and sat down to unpack the knife. Oh my...what a gem. Flawless is what came out of my mouth. The dark chestnut saw cut bone is intense yet baby soft. Not a scuff, scratch or mark any where.

I've only won two of the 5 or 6 GAWS I've entered. The other was a high end modern folder the first month I joined BF. I've always lived by the idea that it's more blessed to give than receive. But it's really nice to receive.

Thanks Mark for making my day and gifting me this way. Thank you to the gang on the porch who make this such a great place to hang. Thank you Spark and BF for making it possible.
