Good morning BF's members,
I have 3 more folders from John Lloyd to list up today. The first is a single blade ,serpentine frame pocket knife with CPM-154 , real nice one. And,two 2 blade folders by John, these are the first two with thinner ss liner dimensions. These 2 folders are real thin,he did a fantastic job, and, the blades of 52100 are ground as thin as old Sheffield blades,if you can appreciate that.
2 blade jacks ,pictured with a two section Vic Sak for a reference. These knives are about 3/8" (6/16") thin!!
I have an interruption in the delivery of the leather padded storage cases that you have come to expect,I'll be heading to the P.O. this morning to see if they are in. I'm not completely out just yet but we'll cross that bridge when we get there
Thanks everyone for everything,-Vince
A slim trapper,by John Lloyd, with a serpentine frame. Bolsterless " shadow" style is thin, light weight and tough. The scales are vintage brownish linen micarta, cross cut, very unique looking stuff .Pinned & inlaid ss double bomb shield. SS pins,ss mill relieved liners. Blade & spring are CPM-154 ss. Smooth snappy action with about a 5 pull, right where most would want it. Blade centers decent,no rub,and the spring is flush in all half stop positions. Hollow grind is thin, very sharp slicer, grind is as good as it gets. This one has a killer perfect swedge & crescent nail nick ,perfectly positioned. 3-7/8" closed ,6-3/4" opened up. Blade measures 2-7/8" with 2-5/8" of cutting edge. Shipping in the States / Paypal fee's / and a leather padded storage case is included
$old thanks
