2.4-2.75" EDC Recommendations?

I thought I had it all decided: Civivi Baby Banter 2 TG version (modified clip point, 2.34" 14C28N blade, G10 handles, toothpick/tweezer "tools") was the new knife for me.

Then while on the Civivi website the Elementum II appears - flipper action, button lock, and all for basically the same price as the Baby Banter 2 TG?

But the Elementum II is much larger, too large to wear with shorts (spend 3/4 the year in shorts)? But then I remember I already have a Spyderco Para 3 lightweight black with CTS RB1N blade so does it make sense to get the Elementum II instead of the BB2TG?

Arghhhhh...so much confusion now!

Sorry, rant is over!

If it were my decision, which it isn’t, I would stick with the BB2TG. It was your original decision and now you are second guessing yourself.

In your original post, you were wanting a blade with a length between the Dragonfly and the Para 3. I lost track but does the BB2TG not meet that requirement?

Have you looked at a Knafs Lander? 14C28N, D2, S35VN options, mostly all drop point, S35VN clip point, and liner locks or crossbar locks. And then you can also swap out the scales with all sorts of factory and aftermarket options since the Lander designs all feature scale swaps without having to mess with the pivot.

They aren't all the 2.75" blade though. They make two slightly larger sizes.

I am a bit late to the party but maybe consider the Brous Silent Soldier flipper. The USA made one run between $100 and $350, the overseas ones are about $40. I have both they are NOT the same. USA made one is a much better knife.
