Here's a couple EDC's that are just itching to go huntin this fall.
Both are 52100 forged from 1" round stock, 3 times quenched, 3 times tempered.

The bottom one is OAL - 8 7/8" with a 4 1/4" blade, professionally stabilized Black ash burl with white spacer material between scales and tang and 8 nickel/ silver pins.$275 + shipping

Top one is OAL- 9" with 4 3/8" blade, professionally stabilized maple burl with black spacer material between scales and tang, and 8 nickel/silver pins.
$275 + shipping.
Please ignor the senior moment I had when marking the blades, as you can see both are marked opposite. :D

Both knives have right hand carry leather(8-9 oz) pouch type sheaths.

Thanks for looking,

Bill

Bill you set up on Paypal yet? Man I am temped by the big one!

Now that's a man that really tests his product. Check out his testing methods on his own knives, Wow!

I know a colleague who has one of his Bill's fighters that he uses daily. It has served him all across the near east in harsh climate and conditions and it looks none the worse for all of that.

Thank you all for the nice comments.

Justabuyer, Jim that one time hacker really messed with my confidence. No, I still don't have an account, matter of fact, I don't know if I'll ever have a CC account again. It really pisses me off how some people are lower then a snakes belly.

Thanks again,

Bill

Bill, I just checked out your website, actually for the first time. You definitely have a knack for making a beautiful and useful product. I think I'll be able to resist only so long. Excellent work!!!

Howdy Bill, are these the two you had on your table at the Chicago Custom show? Good to see you there, I hope you make a habit out of coming to that show. These knives are mighty fine looking in person folks...

on the edge, thank you for the nice compliment.

Mongo, I remember that avatar now,it was nice meeting you. Unless something happens Chicago will have to put up with me again next year, we've already reserved a table. Yep, these were a couple that made the trip.

Thank you,

Bill

Bill,

Very nice as usual. I noticed you added a slight drop to the choil. Is that to make sharpening easier?

John

Hello John, no I just decided I would change them up a little. It should benefit sharpening a little though.

Both are still available.

Thank you,

Bill

A pair of beauties, which is no surprise, of course. Great pair of workers Bill. They'd look just as good on a belt or a display.

Beautiful work as usual Bill!

To anyone who's considering one of Bill's EDC's, I can sincerely say (as an owner of two of them) that you would not be dissappointed. These are exceptional knives with a terrific in-hand feel, and the fit and finish is dead on.

Thank you J. and Ford I really appreciate the compliments. Its amazing what a year will do, last year at this time these edc's sold in record time, today no one wants them.
Still available if anyones interested.

Thanks again guys,

Bill

wow I wish my knife money wasnt all used up, I have a edc from Bill and these blades cut like crazy, anyone who is wondering about these blades, have no fear, Bill's blades are second to none, and Bill is great guy to deal with, can never thank you enough Bill for the blade you made my grandfather...

Bill Buxton did NOT APPROVE this message, nor does he need my help.

Here is the thing I don't understand. I have 5 of Bills knives. The steel he uses is superior to most others for knives. Infi from Busse maybe very well be the only steel that out does it, and that by vanishingly small amounts.

His fit and finish as well as artist's vision and hand made status leaves others in the dust. Seriously what hell is wrong with BF Knife buyers!! I have watched guys spend hundreds and thousands of dollars on knives that are not near the values of a Buxton blade. I have watched ATS-34 and 440c knives go for more than what Buxton asks for hand forged 51200 knives that exhibit a levels of craftsmanship that most makers including some of the most popular can only dream of getting to.

We as a group are supposed to be sophisticated buyers of knives, able to see quality and value. Sorry but the buying behavior I see on this board does not support that ideal.

So here we have a product that has intrinsic value that is greater than the asking price. The artistic appeal is unquestioned. Yet it sits un-purchased while BF buyers spend thousands on what is the knife equivalent of rap music and crack.

I know there is no accounting for taste. Snoop Dog and some asshole named 50cent make more than EMTs and GIs. The world is unfair. Yeah, I get it. But I don't like it.

Bill if the larger of the two knives is still here after the weekend I will buy it. Then I will auction off the knife and raise money for a good cause. I just realy want to set the world right and I am for the most part powerless to do so. But yeah just like you and some other fine men in the knife community I have come to respect, I CAN make some small impact.

Its not just about knives guys. Its about people and values. We need to support the makers that matter because they are at the heart of the knife community.

Once again Buxton did not approve or condone this message. Its all me. So flame away.

If I might make a suggestion--if you do get it, do a passaround, get 10 people to put eyes and hands on it, rate it, and then sell it for a good cause. I have no doubt that there will be 10 pairs of eyes opened after that passaround. It's just an idea to "get the word out."

Featherstone, thank you for the nice words. The pleasure was all mine and I was honored for the opportunity.

Holy Molly, Justabuyer thank you very much for such kind words. I'm speechless, touched and inspired by your comments. I've been a fultime maker for 8 yrs. and I must say its all the customers and fine people like you that's made this job so rewarding.

Thanks to everyone for all your comments,

Bill

Beautiful knives, wish I wasn't back in college and almost broke. I'm selling off a good bit of my production knives for a little cash as is. Trying to sell a boat as well, maybe if one of these is still here when that happens.
