2 affordable award winners at blade 2010 CRKT Eros 2 & Kershaw tilt

I have been VERY impressed with the high end Kershaw sprint runs lately. I've now got all their titanium framelocks (I think) and every one has really proved to be of higher quality than one might think for the price I have paid. I will most likely find excuses to purchase most of their newer models too (Speedform and the new ZT in particular).

I'm really intrigued by these newer premium Kershaw's. The Volt, Speedform, the Tilt, and maybe the AG Russel Acies all look like really fine knives. I think I'm going to wait for the Speedform.

is it going to be a limited run like the volt and speedform or be put into regular production?

The Tilt looks a bit angular for comfortable long term use. No ?

not bashing it ! I love Kershaw. :)

Is the ERos assisted? And what is Acuto+ for a blade material?

I've always seen it listed as Acuto 440+. It's a steel that CRKT used a decade ago.
Probably better than the Aus4 and 6 they've been using.
I seem to recall Ken saying he was "testing" it or going to use it and check it out, but I've never seen any other info on it.

more info/pics about this knife, plzzzzzzzz thomas!

so I guess we can count on the real production version to be available sometime between January and December 2011?

I handled the Tilt at Blade and it was amazingly comfy in hand. For extended periods of time, it would be a dream to use! Kershaw seriously knocked this one out of the park!!!

I love that tilt...$350 is steep. I would love to pick one up, maybe if I can find one for $200.

It may be steep, and I may be a fanatic, but I'd pay double MSRP for that Tilt. Have been drooling over it for a little more than a week now, and I may soon need therapy. It's a wharnie lover's dream come true with a healthy dose of carbon fiber goodness:thumbup: Top of my list for sure.

350$ retail hurts, but that tilt sure is one sexy knife:thumbup:
I guess I' ll get it anyway, just too nice to pass out on imo

Couldn't agree more.

And there is something about wharnies that I find completely intoxicating. This knife will be a must have, gonna have to keep my eye on it...

Those both look awesome, but I don't think I'd call the Tilt "affordable" just yet. Last I saw, the MSRP was supposed to be $350.

Great looking knife - price not so much
