2 Beckers or 1 ESEE?

Yup, that's the wife. She told me that I could "waste" the OT I'm going to get for working the 4th on whatever I want. THat made up my mind.

I bought the ESEE LS and with my OT, I'm going to order a BK2! I don't NEED a BK2, but it looks like fun to use :). I'll actually use a knife the size of the ESEE way more for my camping, so I figured I may as well spend the bulk on that.

Thanks for the help gents.
Let us know how the LS suits you, esp. handle-wise. Is it comfortable to hold and use? Too blocky or small (common complaints about ESEE handles)?

Since you got the LS, do you own any bigger knives yet, like the BK9? If not, you might want to pass on the BK2 for now (due to redundancy of use and excessive weight) and get something that can chop a bit better, something longer... just a thought.

Have fun with your Laserstrike!

I'd do the Beckers, however, instead, you might consider a BK9 and a tweener for a real chopper.

The reason I didn't go for a 9 is that the next big knife i'm going to get is a Junglas. I've held both and preferred the Junglas.

I got the BK2 because I figured SO many people just couldn't be wrong (read all the reviews, no one dislikes the 2, it's rediculous!) and for $64 I just couldn't resist. Never have too many knives/guns right (you have to have a proper rotation and mancessorize correctly). I can always manufacture a new use for it after I get the big chopper.
