Hello guys, here are 2 of my latest knives. Classic puukko shape with birch bark handle. They are almost the same with slight difference in the shape of the handles , the sheaths and one blade is 2 mm longer.

I can't believe these are still here. I have this same exact pattern knife and it's among my favorites! Cuts like a scalpel and Todor's grinds are some of the most symmetrical I've ever seen. There's a simple elegance in his designs that you truly appreciate when you take one of his knives in hand and use it.....and boy do his knives work, the ergos are great! To top it off, his ht is spot on. Mine have come back to razor sharp with nothing more than stropping and hold a great edge.

If you've never felt a birch bark handle before, they have a very nice almost velvety/light tacky feel to them. Excellent amount of grip and control. It's a great material that I don't see very much of. Todor's happen to be masterfully executed. The fit and finish of the handle and the pommel/guard fittings are something to see. If you're into puukkos or are on the fence about one of these knives, hop off it and grab one. You won't regret it....in fact, you'll want more of Todor's knives when you see how great they are! He's the very best of people to deal with!

Thank you Paul, your opinion is very important to me. At the begining when I started making puukko knives, I was lucky to have acces to the creations of Jukka Hankala and Pekka Tuominen. At that point I realized that if I want my knives to be successful, I can't make any compromises with the heat treatment, the line of the hole knife , the balans and all the details that on a first glance look small and unimportant, but without them the knife will not be what it should be. I think that for those 6-7 years of work I managed to get as close as possible to their level. My current challenge is the photography. I suspect that this battle will be hard .
