Thanks aggie for liking them...they are your style!

spearz- glad to be back...lora made me quit to get ready for the blade show. had a pretty good show. you guys have really kept me busy in the mean time; i finished up a lot of custom work in may. hopefully you'll see quite a few posts from me shortly. the show was good in many ways, but sales weren't one of them.....no crowds at all! gas prices maybe, but I sold a few.

I'M BACK! : )

Hey Eddie; I am going to step on your thread a minute.

Did anyone get a chance to watch Eddie's demonstration at the Blade show? I have visited his shop in the SC sand country and that man can grind a knife! His accuracy and speed are unbelievable. I was amazed at how easy he makes it look to turn out a perfectly shaped blade and this double ground knife is a good example of his talents. His grind line is always exactly in the middle of the blade and meets perfectly at the tip... no small feat for us stock removal guys.

Gerry,
In the line of what you are talking about: years ago someone brought me a cat with an aortic thrombus. I diagnosed it in 5 seconds and told them what was wrong. The guy said"How do you know that's what's wrong?" I said "Because that's what I do".
Well, That's what Eddie does. He just does it a little better and quicker than some others.

"Anybody can do it. It's easy. Just watch the Eddie White video. There's really nothing to it."

"What? You charge that for a 5 minute grind?

One a more serious note, that was a great video. Makes me appreciate my Eddie Whites just a bit more, seeing that they came from the hand of a master!!!!

Thanks for the heads up Lora.

j22- always barehanded, but i got all my fingers! (knock on wood) but normally i do use safety glasses, especially when i do my heavy grinding. i started out doing the demo with the glasses on, but it got HOT as hell in there. as gerry drew can tell ya, one at a time is real good for me. doing it at the blade show, i had to try hard to pay attention to what i was doing and not think about where i was. this is the first EVER EVER EVER that i had enough nerve to step up in public and do anything. yall, my nerves were on each of my hairs!
Thanks and I apprecaite all the kind words.

I saw it and still don't believe it. It reminded me of a Gunmaker friend fitting a 1911 barrel. Simple when you've done it for 40 years.:D

Coldcase, that is excellent news! I always like to hear when they are received, and how well they are received!

Yall, this white one's still for sale.
