These are new forges....I've had some really good luck with my forge design and wanted to offer them for sale on the forum. Dimensions are as follows: Cylindrical design 18 inches long, 11 inches high by 11 inches wide. Inside measurements are 14 inches long by 8 inches wide by 8 inches high. The openings on both ends are 5 x 5 inches. The forge has two burners, regulator adjustable to 60 lbs which is well more than you would ever need. All you need is a propane bottle. Bottom is lined with 2 1/2 inch firebrick for easy cleaning or replacement. It has 2 layers of 1 inch ceramic wool coated with 3000 degree refractory coating. The round design of the forge helps elliminate cold spots in your heating. I am able to take 1/4 in x 1.25 inch bar stock in a stone cold forge and heat 12 inches of it to orange red hot in 4 minutes. This was at 8 lbs pressure.

If you have any questions, drop me an email

it looks like this will get up to welding heat with no problem? Could you tell me shipping to 12065.
Thanks,
Grant

I have a new two burner available for 300.00 plus shipping. Check out my new 3 burner on YouTube in franklinforge. Thanks for looking....Gary

I haven't done any welding with the 3 burner yet but I'm sure it will be no problem. The two burner welds no problem. I run up to 25 lbs pressure with all three of my forges. Even my 1 burner gets hot enough you can do some smaller billets. If you get too big a piece of steel with that one, you can't heat more than 6 inches at a time. I just close the ends up to hold heat and get ready to pound away....Gary

Giving my topic a bump...Forge is still available. Also have a 3 burner available now for 375.00. Same size as 2 burner. Runs real hot, ideal for welding....

I have another 2 Burner Forge ready...If you want one and this one is sold, there is a 1 week lead time for another. PM me if you have any questions...Gary

I have a two and three burner forge available. Both are capable of welding. Two burner is at 285.00 plus shipping and the three burner is reduced to 350.00. I accept paypal. The three burner has free shipping in lower 48. I'll do 1/2 shipping to Canada on both...Gary

Okay, these things rock! I actually have the three burner, have had it for about a week. After setting up space, adding another layer of cement, and letting it cure, I've used it 4 times for forging, annealing and heat treat runs. Really sweet. definitely gets hot, and has just enough offset to have a "hotter side" and a "cooler side".

Okay, so I'm coming from a charcoal forge, but I've used a few gas forges and this just kicks butt.
