You can run a search on BFC for more info on Svord, but to summarize: high-quality small-production knifeshop down in New Zealand, well-known for quality carbon-steel field/hunting knives with an appleseed edge.

I ran a group buy for the full-size Svord friction-folders on THR, which went quite well. Svord then discontinued their smaller size, and I purchased about 15 of their remaining 60 damascus and carbon blades (minimum order is 10, so they won't sell you an individual blade). I had a no-show for one order, so I have two 1.75 Svord Gent Peasant blades available.

Both are fresh from heat-treating, so covered in scale, but ready to polish, final sharpen, and assemble on the handle material of your choice. I have two of mine over at Circle J knifeworks (a BFC member) to be mounted onto antler ends.

I'll sell both together for $25 shipped in Continental US. Time is short, as I leave for Afghanistan in a couple weeks, so hope to sell them quick at that discount price.

Here's the THR thread detailing the items: http://www.thehighroad.org/showthread.php?t=301334&highlight=svord

Note also my long history on THR, including three knife group-buys and much other positive feedback for firearms sales.

Note: picture shows blades polished and assembled on handles. Blades I have are treated but unpolished, and no handle/hardware.
