Hi everyone!

I've got a couple unused shelf queens to trade for new Kershaws.

The first is the nicest knife I own. First off it is marked "Tarpley". It is forged antique mining cable damascus. The blade is around 4 1/2" long with about 4" of cutting edge. Overall it is around 8 1/2" long. The handle is some form of burl. If I had to GUESS I would say stabilized walnut burl. The butt is marked "101". It was given to me new as a gift without a sheath. I have had it for about ten years, and it has always resided on the top shelf of my knife cabinet. It has never been used nor worn, I never even checked the edge on paper. Here are some pictures of the Tarpley.

The next knife is a nice little Siggma Caper L6 knife. It is hand made by Jim Sigg from an antique saw mill blade. The handle (if I remember correctly) is cocobolo. The blade is hand stamped with "Siggma" on one side, and a hand stamped fishing fly on the reverse. It is stamped "090201" on the spine. The blade is 2 3/4" long with an overall length of around 6". This one comes with a sheath. The only use that this knife has seen was to test the edge on a piece of paper just once. It has never been worn nor used.
Here are the Siggma Caper Pics.

What I am interested in is primarily, but not necessarily, Kershaw flipping knives made from 13C26 or better. For example for the Siggma I would like a Composite JYDII and a JYD, or a couple regular JYDIIs, or similar. For the Tarpley damascus I would would like either multiples (numbers are negotiable) of lesser expensive Kershaws (example 5 JYDs, or 5 Skylines, or 4 regular JYDIIs, or 3 composite JYDIIs, or 4 Cyclones, or mixed and matched) or something unique like the SG2/titanium JYDII and a regular JYDII. I'm not to picky on the knife model just as long as it is either the American made Kershaws or the Japanese made Lahars, so you can kinda get an idea what I'm interested in. I would like multiples of lesser Kershaws instead of say the ZT line simply because I want to give some away as gifts. Other Shaws I'm interest in are the Shallots, NRGs, Needs Work, Lahar, and certain Leeks.
If interested just drop and me an offer and we can parleyI will consider any Kershaw offers as long as they are NIB. Even a ZT-200 plus one lesser expensive (cyclone, JYDII, OCC leek, Damascus Leek, or anything else) for the Tarpley. If you want to see more pictures just let me know and I will do my best to photograph what you would like to see.
Thanks.
Jeremy

If you are interested in both, I will be willing to negotiate on the above numbers. Also if you take both, I would do a partial trade for freeze dried foods (Mountain House, Honeyville, Etc).

One other thing that I would be interested in would be blacksmithing equipment, primarily workinghand-crank forge blowers such as the Champion 400, Buffalo forge, etc. or a complete small hand-powered forge. If the forge/blower is in good enough shape, I would trade both knives for it.

I am also interested in trading for a simple Lamson Sharp offset sandwhich knife, the Shun 6" utililty, the Shun 6" Wasabi, the Lamson Sharp prep knife, Bark River Fox River, Bark River Rogue, Tops Pasayten Lite Traveller. I am still mostly interested in Kershaw folders, but I will post more interests as they come to me.

Last bump. Both still available. I am still looking primarily for Kershaws, especially the composite JYDII, Nakamura, Shun Kitchen knives and any other regular production nib Kershaws (numbers are negotiable), but I am also interested in new/unused Bark Rivers, unused Grohmann carbon steel knives, unused Delaronde hawks, old good shape Western (with the Boulder stamp) carbon steel W49 bowie, and a Marlin 336 30-30 that is in good shape. Thank you.

I have two leeks I can offer up. One is a damascus blade with a tungsten handle, the other is a tungsten blade with a steel handle.

I can swap the blades back to the original configurations if you'd like.

I made a presentation box of basswood and sapele that has a recess machined to fit the leek, any leek.

Hi Jonesjp,
What condition are they (new, used, etc.) and which knife were you interested in?

Thanks for the interest!

Siggma Returned due to small size.
Tarpley still available. Still wanting Shun kitchen knives, Lamson Sharp kitchen knives, Bark Rivers in A-2 or 52100, Kershaw JYDII regulars or composites, Kershaw Nakamura, or Kershaw Lahars.

Adding a couple users.

I'm listing a used Cold Steel OSS Black Bear with a used Smith and Wesson folder thrown in with it. I bought the Black Bear back around 2001 from Top of Texas knives to use as a 72 hour bag knife. I asked a CS dealer about the steel and he thinks that it is some form of 420 either J or HC. It has seen some light use, once to slice a loaf of French bread and once to snick a wait-a-minute vine that grabbed me while hiking. No other use, but due to it being in a bag for so many years it does show some wear. If you notice it had some light scratches towards the tip that came from sitting in the sheath for so long. Still has the original factory shaving sharp edge. I''m throwing in the S&W folder with it. I bought this a few years back just as a test (was trying out the service of a business I hadn't shopped with before). The handle shows some rub marks from where it's been sitting in a drawer. It's been basically a desk-drawer letter opener. Here are the knives and here is a picture of the scratches.

I would like to trade them for a (singular) new or like-new American made Kershaw with the 13c26 Sandvik steel. Mostly I'm looking for a Blur (440a okay), Shallot, any JYD (I or II), Skyline, Cyclone(prefer standard but mini okay), Ener-G (big or little), Speed Bump, certain Leeks, or Groove---- whatever you got. I would also trade these two (CS and SW) for the Lamson Sharp Kitchen knives listed above or a new 12" Ontario machete and CS bushman. I would also accept multiples of 5 Opinels or 4 Moras for the CS. I am flexible on these two, so make an offer. If you give me the full trade for the Tarpley damascus, I'll throw these in if you like.

One other line of knives I would trade the CS OSS Black bear and S&W folder for are these.
I don't know who the maker is, but he stamps all of his trade knives with a canoe. I would trade the Black Bear and Smitty folder straight out for one of these knives stamped with the canoe and the sheath (specifically the models known as the "south west" "Hudson Bay" "Roach Belly" "MEtis" "Lewis and Clark" "English trade with Piercing" and the "Courier Des Bois ".

Siggma and Tarpley are withdrawn. I will leave the Cold Steel up for the time being to any interested offers.
