I had some small pieces of damascus laying around and decided to forge them to shape. Here is what I came up with. Both are made form Delbert Ealy Zebra pattern damascus. Both have thumb serrations on the top of the blades.
The small one has a cutting edge of 1-1/4 inches. 1/8 in thick and flat ground with false edge. This is designed to be held with one finger, preferably between the index and thumb or in a reverse grip between the middle and ring finger. Overall length is 2-1/2 inches. Price is $80 Shipped
The larger one has a 1-1/2 in cutting edge and is also 1/8 in thick. This one is designed to be held with 2 fingers inside the curve and pinched between the thumb and index finger. It fits nicely either in a forward or reverse grip. Price is $125 shipped.
These just kinda developed as the blades were forged out.
Let me know what you think.
Thanks for looking,
Chuck
