I have noticed that 440C tends to hold a burr at times. I strop mine on hardwood at an elevated angle to remove the burr. This works. That steel will give you a real good, lasting edge. DM

It does. Im pretty sure I took care of it, but we will see. I might try the wood stropping trick if I have issues later though, thank you!

I love the old slab sided 110's

I have taken black shoe polish to some of those old sheaths.

On really dry leather, I use coconut oil and a hairdryer. It's actually a nice natural leather conditioner.

Corrugated cardboard works great in a pinch to remove burrs .
