Field Craft in D2
Nice stout little Field Craft blade well crafted, freehand ground has all the right ingredients for a life of use.
4 ¼” blade is done in 3/16 D2 clean hollow grind Satin finish with textured flats
Ready to use and not be afraid of scratching the finish from use or the sheath
Balance is right at the index finger definitely a solid piece
Layered G10 scales NS pins
Full disclosure I messed up the first video of beating on that knife with a hammer.
Wound up shooting it twice so that is only half the abuse it got. These scales are put together the same way.
Light texture on the handle and the .093 Kydex grips the handle and blade securely
$145 > $125 delivered USPS Priority mail Conus PP much preferred
M/O ok just slower
First post “I’ll take it” gets it
PM or Email any questions you may have

Field Craft 1 in D2
D2 though spendy has become my favorite it is IMO a great crossover steel.
With a good combination of edge retention, semi stainless and has vanadium for toughness.
Ready to use and not be afraid of scratching the finish from use or the sheath
Won’t sit there and rust on the bench overnight. Just needs common sense care
Blade is right at 4” and 8 ½” OAL Freehand ground satin hollow grind with textured flats gives it a nice contrast.
Solid in the hand done in 3/16” D2 tool steel
Unsharpened false edge gives it great purchase and penetration
Light texture on the handle and the .093 Kydex grips the handle and blade securely

What uses would you say the first knife would be good for and to what extent or limit can the blade handle in regards to outdoor tasks?

Nice looking blades. Really like number 1. Really hate not having disposable income.

Yup! You said it! Lost my job about 9 weeks ago, and haven't been able to find my feet. Finding a job isn't like it was in the old days. Always wanted to find a knife I could pass down to my son when my wife and I decide to have kids!

Number one looks business like and really useful. I have always had good luck with D2. Russ

The first knife just arrived downunder. All I say is "Wow!" and that the photos above do not do it justice. What a beautiful knife! What great workmanship! Robert, thank you for selling me such a quality knife.
