Up first is an R. Hankins custom Tanto. A-1 steel.Black and orange G10 handles. 9.75" OAL. Flat ground tip. Convex main edge (20 degrees).This one is thick--approx .30. Blade is about 5.25" long and about 1" tall. Beautiful knife--great grinds. Asking $115 shipped Priority w/ insur and del confirm.Those are not marks on blade,just fingerprints.
Second knife is a Ken Henschel Drop Point Hunter. Ken is about 75 now and been making knives for over 50 years. Blade is 4.5" and OAL is 9".Blade is 1/8" surgical steel--440c--polished to a mirror finish.Ken's mark is on the right side of the blade.There is a finger choil for detail work.Handle is laminated and polished Pakkawood w/ polished brass rivets.Hilt is polished brass,cut and shaped from brass bar stock. Every part of this knife was made from stock by Mr. Henschel.Beautiful sheath also made by Mr. Henschel. Made of Gokey and lined to prevent blade scratches.Stitched and brass riveted w/ a swivel belt loop. This is aunbelievably beautiful knife. Top quality. Sheath is worth the price I'm asking for both.Nice patina on brass. Very sharp. Asking $125.00shipped Priority w/ insur and del confirm. No scratches or ? on knife--99% mint.
