Both were purchased last month to check out as an edc butI am going to stick with my BlackHawk Crucible for a smaller fixed blade as an edc just due to the fact the handle is more ergonomic for me.
Spyderco is made of vg-10 and made in Japan. I think it is a bollatron sheath with a belt clip or slide. Excellent execution on the knife, razor sharp, and never used for cutting and never carried. I did strop the blade to remove a burr. I have the original box and papers. Blade is about 5.25" long and the handle is very ergonomic at about 4.35" or so. $80 shipped via PP or M.O. Again don't mention knife in the PP payment if that is how your going.
Second knife up is the Alala. Made by Spartan Blades in the USA! Blade is 4" of 1095CV and is razor sharp. Green G10 handle slabs that are removable and are 4" long also. Has the push button locking system that you deactivate with your thumb and it works. Have the box and everything that came in the box. $80 shipped and PP or a M.O.
The price reflects about a $40 difference as to what I paid for both. Thanks and stay safe
