You have made a great choice!!! Butch's kitchen knives (or for that matter any of his knives) are wonderful cutting instruments, with great ergonomic lines, that makes the handle fit like a glove. His tempering and finishing of the metal make them wonders to cut with, and a joy to sharpen!!! Yes, I like Butch's knives and designs and I own several of them.

Happy Holidays to all!!!

Butch,
First, I just wanted to give you a heads up that this arrive today.

Second, about the knife itself--

Hands down, it is the sharpest knife I have ever handled, let alone owned.

The handle not only looks incredible, but it feels even better in hand. It is not too long, not too short. Width is also excellent.

Balance is very nice, just in front of the handle. It feels very light, and yet very capable at the same time. And IMO, because of this, I think it would make an awesome knife for someone who needs to handle one all day long for a living.

All in all, it definitely exceeded my expectations. Thanks for a GREAT deal, and Merry Christmas!
