Howdy Fellas, 2 nice ones for sale today...I'll get right to it.

1. New OTK Persian model in S110V. This one is 9" overall with 4" blade length, 1.25" wide at widest point. The stock is .155" thick, flat ground, weight relieved under scales, hardened to 62Rc with cryo by Peters. Hand rubbed finish and sharpened to 9 micron on my edge pro. Grind is medium thin and slices very well. Scales are new kevlar thunderstorm with black G10 liners. Boltaron sheath with large tek lok included. $300+10 shipping.

Has a very sharp and aggressive convex edge applied. Again, medium thin grind and cuts effortlessly. Scales are OD/Forrest Green with black liners. Shawn, both of these are a nightmare! The 110V is by far the worst. It is in the 40's rc in its annealed state so it eats saw blades and drill bits readily. Probably why you don't see many knives from these steels. The end result is worth the trouble.

LOL. I haven't worked with the high vanandium steels yet. I've used a ton of 3V and just finished my first M390 knife. Have you worked with S90V yet? How does it compare to these two?

S90V is tough to finish grind and hand finish but it's easy to deal with before HT. 110V is very very different because of the 3%+ Niobium. It won't get softer than 40 something.

And then there's the fact that S90V is usually hardened to 59-60, where 110V is 62-64. Chemistry aside this difference in hardness is very noticeable in the process. 110V in my opinion is 5x harder for the maker than S90V...lots more expensive too.

Alright fellas, about to drop off the front page...I'll entertain reasonable offers on these two. Thanks.

I just bought the edc and I am thrilled to have it coming to Maine for some slicing and dicing. Thanks for selling me this gem. Russ
