The Altai (AH) Grip is a grip that we developed at the request of Smith & Wesson. It is basically a conversion grip -- that is, it changes the J Frame round butt profile to a square butt profile.
The reason was to provide the maximum gripping surface and stability in the lower palm of the hand. The edges were all rounded and smoothed for concealed carry. Textures were developed to reduce torque movement in the hand.
