Wow Gene, these turned out quite nicely. I'm particularly impressed with how you sunk the joint without giving up too much on the blade width. As nice as these look, I think it will look even better dressed in black;)

Those are pretty cool Gene! Come up with one in a modified Wharncliffe blade shape with a nice splinter picker point later and it may be more than I can resist. ;) Seriously, great job. I really like the blue one.

Those two look great! But add a white one in between and you'll have red, white and blue and be more patriotic. (I am writing this as I am watching our President speak at the tragic Tucson Memorial.)

These are sweet folders. I especially like the pivots - nice and large! Ever consider making these linerless?

This maker is new to me but i'd say these 2 knives are likely the best deal in folders ever posted in this forum.

I appreciate the comments. As to the liner-less folders, I will have to study up on that.
Thanks to Josh for helping me get information on them. I might give it a try.

I agree. I cannot wait for mine to get here:thumbup:

You are quite welcome Gene. The comments are well deserved as these look to be an exceptional value.

Very nice folders, I have a brother in law that would love one and as STR said if you make a spliter picker in this style and around the same price consider it SOLD!

Just received the red folder and another absolute beast of a knife. Functional design with beautiful fit and finish - an excellent tool. THANKS!!!

I just got the blue one this afternoon and I must say I am very impressed. Fit and finish are superb. I feel like I stole this knife for the price. For the sake of constructive criticism I will say that the back spring pressure is pretty heavy. It's not quite a nailbuster to open but not far from it. Other than that a great all around knife. I think we will be seeing amazing things from Mr. Wiseman going forward.

Thanks for the comments. I will lighten up the backsprings from here on out. I had been judging it on whether or not my wife could open them but I think she might just be getting stronger.

I received the black prototype Friday afternoon and I couldn't be more impressed with this knife. I agree with Corey on all accounts, except on the back spring. Mine is just right, though I do like a stiff spring. I don't think it close to a nail buster though. I think this is just the beginnings of some special offerings from Gene:thumbup:
