hey all....what a week. Started the week off great, got some more LSCF in stock, & my camp 10 is on its way! and Tuesday I was lucky enough to aquire a TILT!!!! Been wanting this for a long time, a huge thanks to the always wonderful & gracious Chester22!!!!! Grail#2 is technically a tool... I got an Edge Pro Apex set with all the bells. Figured since i have been working on so many blades, it was more of a business need:D Put my first mirror polish edge on my 0560...this thing is SCARY SHARP:eek:

Thursday my luck changed...after a long nite of working on an engine, a job i should have walked away from an hour or more before and started again later, I had a pully snap loose breaking 3 fingers on my left hand and lacerating my knuckles pretty bad. This is gonna put me out of my shop for a few weeks.....and with all these new toys:grumpy: Whats the saying...pics or it didnt happen...for those who just cant resist, heres a pic from the ER, the tops of my index & middle fingers are broken, first index knuckle is wide open: https://sphotos-b.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-prn1/11956_543907405644134_2093449211_n.jpg

Well, after some stitches, Vicodin, and just 2 fingers of scotch (pun intended) im feeling a bit better today, when somehow the mailman already has my TILT!!!

Ouch man, I'm really sorry to hear that. I'm no stranger to lacerations and injury either. I'm also no stranger to a little bit of pain killers and alcohol. Some rum and codeine will do wonders for some fresh stitches and an all nighter of papers.

Congratulations on the TiLT. Having one myself is sucking me farther and farther away from ZTs...I get one more TiLT and I'm set for life. Or at least that's what my mind says now...

Get well man, I'm sure you'll heal up alright.
 
Sucks about your hand. Hope that gets better soon. Must have been really bad if they gave you Vicodin. That's some serious stuff.
Congrats on the TiLT, I also got my Grail TiLT this week. Don't let greeenie see, or he may become depressed.

Looks like you need something to drink along with all those pills :D. Hope it heals up quick and you can get back to doing business!
 
Sorry to hear about your hand. I'm pretty jealous about the TiLT though, I would love to get one at some point. Hopefully when you get better I can have you make some custom scales for me, love your work. Hope you get better soon.
 
Ouch! Hope you are right handed, heal fast. I see back order hell approaching.
 
thanks for all the well wishes...i will say, I have more time to spend on the forums...but typing is a buit tricky:rolleyes:
 
Just think, the sooner you heal up, the sooner you can get that LSCF shaped and sent to its new homes :p
