2 grails & 2 broken fingers....how's your week going?!

^^ They actually did use a "superglue" like liquid bandage on my laceration until they were able to stop the bleeding and stitch it up:-) I was pretty amused...

I use superglue on minor to moderate cuts all the time. Even bad ones usually, I'm in the hospital enough for work, I don't want to go in my free time too :p

Thanks for giving us a choice of whether to look at the ER pictures. I'm more than happy to take your word for it.

Get better soon man thats no fun. It is always when you get tired and have been working on something too long that something goes wrong!

I cant wait to see the cf on the tomcat:)

Well congrats on the new knives , and sorry about the hand. What exactly do you mean by a pulley snapped loose?

I imagine he meant it came undone with the belt on. And since the belt is tight and puts force on the pulley, the pulley has potential energy, and I'm guessing that suddenly that potential energy turned into kinetic energy (meaning that the evil pulley shot itself within the engine bay and hit poor Rival's hand)

Is anyone going to not look at bloody pictures? Hope you are back working soon.

I did. It doesn't look as bad as you would think...although those fingernails are looking mighty blue, which could indicate a loss of circulation.

thats pretty close to it...i was fighting a waterpump for a few hours...in the home stretch i was being lazy and had a tensioner held back by my prybar, when my "rig" came lose everything snapped back lightning fast, the prybar smacked the tips of my fingers against the engine.... I should have waited until i had a friend available to help instead of pushing through, but no.....why would i do that?!?

dam that had to hurt, I did something similar, I was putting the belt back on after doing a water pump. Hands still had coolant on them. My hand slipped off the tensioner tool and it smacked me right in between my eye and nose, busted me open, had to go to the hospital and get super glued.

Oh Snap! Take it easy, you'll get back to pimping knives soon enough. I hear fingers are pretty important in life so baby those things.
