The above was one of Chris Berry’s (Big Chris) earlier models—I’ve owned it for almost a year. Balance and ergos approach perfection, performance as devastating and controllable as Chris demonstrates in competition. He’s tweaked subsequent models a bit but follows the basic design elements closely:

...
Full Zero Convex Ground CPM 4V at 62 Rc. HSM slabs. Weight 27 oz. Balance point 2.5" in front of the plunge. 14.95" OAL with a 9.8" Blade, .356" thick @ spine...

Such an amazing experience to handle and use—anyone who truly loves wielding ultra-high-performance choppers should treat themselves to at least one of these.

Would love to see Jerry get involved!!!:thumbsup::thumbsup:

So we need a Nuclear HNWS with 2 handed grip, infi, about .3-.35 thick

Send someone to Knife or Death to intro the blade Ganzaa starts when the knife wins the show.

Sound good?
I think I'd rather have one around .220 for speed.

Bill Siegle made this one for me around 2003. It's 26 inches (OAL) of 3/8" thick 5160. The slot at the base of the blade was intended for a sturdy adjustable lanyard of the type used on mountaineering ice axes. It is a pure chopper, with a flat ground blade and convex edge. The beast weight about 6 pounds. In the right hand it would make quite a mess of the Knife Fight stage sets

that gerber bmf really puts that beast into perspective. Is that Brazilian military knife?

The military knife is a Spanish Special Forces Knife. It was made by the Spanish government's Fabrica National de Toledo and issued initially to it's mountain troop brigade, which later evolved into the Spanish Special Forces. Although, the factory records have been lost, it reportedly was issued during the Franco Era, from the WWII period through the early 1970s. It was replaced by the Aitor knife.

Aitor military knife:

Haven't seen the show, only read things on BF; but it sounds like evolution is very quickly driving the blade the blade design to be optimized for this particular set of tasks. Just as competition chopping blades are designed for that task.

And that means that those blades may not be optimized for the tasks that normal people have in mind. YMMV.

Here are a few 2 handed options... kodiac up top.. it’s got a great balance and not too heavy as some would be tiresome in the competition .. however would love to get my hand’s on a chuckett:) both that is! Frankly I think it would dominate on the show.

YES, CHUCKETTE! That's the first thing I thought of when I read "2 handed chopper".
And I'm loving that 3rd from the top in your picture :thumbsup:
