2 HT questions: do I need to crimp my foil better, and how often do you test hardness?

Keep an eye on Facebook marketplace. They pop up from time to time, usually when machine shops close. Or check local universities and see if they have one and will let you use it, or look for a local makers space that may have one. I found a local university has a Wilson 4JR in their machine shop. I have a 1JR at home, the 4 JR is HUGE compared to mine!
