2 inch folder?

I don't have this knife on me at the moment, but it has a 2 1/4" ATS-34 blade and was made in Seiki City with G-10 scales. I bought it on closeout at Grand Prairie Knives maybe ten years ago on close out for $30 or $35 dollars. I tried to sell it once, but it really is a nice and tough little knife with a super tight lockup.

Nobody ever gets upset by a Vic classic! It goes almost anywhere.

Indeed! Mine is taking most of my "pocket time" away from my beloved Case CV Red Bone Peanut of late...which shocks me. That Vic Classic has some strange, inexplicable voodoo or something. I never thought anything would bump that peanut from my pocket.

It's the ju-ju put on them by the Swiss mountain gods when they leave the factory!:D

I agree completely on the victorinox classic. I've been taking mine on campus and to class with me for the last three years, and no one has ever batted an eye if I pulled it out to cut something, or use the scissors.

Vic Rambler. it is easier to use attached to a keychain than the Classic, and the tiny Philips has come in handy more times than I would have thought.

I do not know if it is still available but a nice inexpensive Gerber EZ-out Jr. is a pretty good example. Hard to beat those Vics.

I carried a Victorinox Spartan in college, that's been awhile ago, I think they are getting tighter on blade lenghts or carrying at all at most schools . If your school allows carry but has a blade limit stay at/under it, not worth getting kicked out of school over. Also I think you're better off with a SAK or traditional like a Peanut or small pen knife than something that is one-hand or esp. assisted opening, the less attention your knife draws the less likey you are to have any trouble.

Curtiss Nano. Also known as the Great Lakes Waterjet Nano. I'd offer a link but my work keeps blocking the site, but easy to google. 2 in, looks different enough not to scare folks.

How about a CRKT Shrimp? Been carrying it around in the watch pocket of my jeans for a while now and it does all those mundane cutting tasks beautifully. The blade is only 1.75 inch but very thick and it's an all around sturdy little knife. And it comes in cool colors so it looks rather cute and non-threatening.
