Some very nice, affordable customs here.
By J. Neilson:
Beauty and the Beast!
First is a Springbok Papoose. A small gent's knife with a springbok antler handle, copper guard, green corian pommel. Fileworked spine, sharp little devil with a snakeskin sheath. Great for the desk or your pocket. Cost $160 new, but sheath has a gouge and there are sheath marks on the guard, so $100 shipped.
Second is the monster, the Ironwood Beast. Based on his Dark Beast design, this is a 2.5" wide, 3/8" thick, 7.5" blade Bowie with an ironwood handle with truly beautiful figure. It comes with a leather sheath with stud for belt wear. It was coal forged and the marks were left on the flats. The convex edge is wicked sharp and makes it an excellent, compact chopper. Hurts to let this unique knife go. As new. $350 ... now $325 shipped
Next is one of Mike Wilson's great little friction folders. Nice India Stag handle, O1 steel blade left rough. micarta backspacer. 3 1/8" blade. Makes a great little pocket knife. Mint. **SOLD PENDING FUNDS**
Finally is a Ray Rogers Warlock folder. Cryo quench 3.75" D2 recurve blade, black ash burl scales. This one has been carried and used, there are some light marks on the clip and bolsters from carry. Ray knows how to put an edge on, and the cryo treatment makes it last- Rockwell 60, according to Ray. Really nice mirror polish. Just received back from Ray with new Ash burl scales (see photos further down). WITHDRAWN
All prices include priority mail shipping with insurance and delivery confirmation. I accept money orders, Paypal+3%.
