I've got two sizes of the Jaguar bushcraft / survival knife available. All specs besides blade length are the same.

Both come in Flandi grind: a 12 degree per side scandi secondary bevel on a thicker-than-normal flat grind for great strength, ease of sharpening and improved slicing. Both come with kydex sheath.

Think of the AEB-L Jaguar as a ESEE 5/6 or BK 2/7, but lighter, sleeker, and with more aggressive grind geometry while also in a much tougher steel with better edge retention and stain resistance.

I began making PL knives in 2016. I've done leather work for over 20. I added kydex to my repertoire in the last 3 years. AEB-L stainless is heat treated by Peter's heat treat, cryogenically treated and tempered to 61-62hc. Scales are glued with West Systems G-flex epoxy. My aim is to produce heirloom quality tools with excellent craftsmanship that will provide a lifetime of enjoyment and service.

If you would prefer to have a dangler instead of a fixed belt loop, You can substitute a standard leather loop dangler with kydex belt attachment for $10. A reinforced leather loop dangler with dual snaps is $25.

.The blast finish looks nice...I am not familiar with the equipment or procedure. Best I do some snooping....that really is a good look.

After shaping I do an 80 grit sandblast to get an even texture, then sand out the exposed tang to 600 grit, then rub scales down with plasticX, then rub some mineral oil into them.

Gives more grip with micarta and G10 than a polished finish, which I think is a benefit.

Thanks for the info, PLackey. Looks sweet and grippiness is indeed a benefit.
