I have a John Young hunter and a General Purpose utility knife for sale. Both knives have high polished, hollow ground ATS-34 blades, full tapered tangs, stainless steel guards and the most awesome stag you've ever seen. Lots of color, red, black, lots on contour. These knives are the exact style and dimensions of similar model S.R. Johnson knives and I have to say that the workmanship is right up there with Steve's. I've owned over 50 S.R. Johnson knives and these two look like they were made by Steve. No difference. The sheaths even look identical. Maybe John uses the same sheath maker, I'm not sure. My friend, knife purveyor Gary Shaw, is very impressed with John's knives, and has told me that John's knives are among the best investments you can make right now.

Both knives are flawless, new and perfectious, along with the sheaths. They each have blade lengths around 3 1/2" and are both around 7 1/2" overall. Very strong, stout knives that would make excellent investments or fantastic carry knives. These are the top and bottom knives in this picture. They're awesome, you won't be disappointed. $550 each shipped FedEx. Thanks,

Pete

Unsolicited comment, John's work is indeed flawless, and SRJ level, at a third or even quarter the price. Generally, when people talk about a good investment, it's something that's selling at a third of what it may be a few years from now, well, that sounds pretty good to me. :)

Johns sheaths are made by SRJ's sheath maker, and are very well made, John uses top quality materials, his stash of stag is remarkable.

Both are sold. Thanks for the inquiries and the nice comments on John's work. He's an excellent maker.

I understand you'll be shooting knife pics at the Chicago show for walk-up customers. Is that true? If so, count me in. Thanks,

Pete
