Hey everybody, I got 2 more of my slim models, this time done in Kirinite. Something happened to these and there are glue rings around the pins, so i will be letting these go a cheaper than normal. #1 has worse glue rings but #2 still has some visible.

Asking $85 for either shipped inside the US, includes leather pocket sheath made by my dad with a place for a small flashlight, pen, or ferro rod.

#1

Blade Length-2 15/16

Chisel ground with a acid stonewashed finish
Handle materiel is royal pearl kirinite that has been sanded to 2000 grit and then hand buffed, secured with a stainless pin and a titanium lanyard tube along with loctite hystol e-120 hp epoxy.

Thanks for looking, please tell me what you think!

The type of grind was the only thing that put me off. I wouldn't know where to begin to get a good edge. Otherwise, both knives were extremely tempting!
Your Dad sewed up some great leather - really like his craftsmanship and design!

Thanks jm, sharpening a chisel grind isn't any harder to sharpen than any other grind. In my opinion it's even easier because you only need to sharpen one side and just debur the other.

Gorgeous knives!

How is the grippyness of the kirinite? I've seen it used quite a bit recently but don't think I've heard much about it.

Also seconds on #1 if it didn't go through.

Thanks jk, in my opinion kirinite has a different kind of grip than most other handles, almost like a rubbery tackiness. I don't have any problems with its grippyness.

Interesting description. It looks so smooth in pictures. I love the way it looks. Ill be keeping a closer eye next time something like these come up.

Another grind would open this model up to lefty's. That chisel grind is for right-handed people only.

These knives are top notch. I too would be interested in a different grind, but the chisel is working great. Sharpens easily and being a lefty has not troubled me. The leather sheath is awesome. It fits my streamlight perfectly. I could not be happier. Keep up the good work. Now get on those new grinds!

Drew...

I'm really impressed with these two. Too bad for me that I did not get to see them before they went Bye Bye! I have a couple of knives with the blue and gold kirinite scales. If you make more...count me in for one. Would you mind sending me a PM or Email to let me know. I am heading to Kodiak Alaska on the 23rd for a week of fishing and I'd hate to miss another sale. I cannot monitor Forums while there but will me able to read emails. It a bandwidth thing at the remote camp. Thanks...Gordy
