Hey guys, relatively new to the forum but have lurked for years. I'm in a qualm and would like some opinions. I'm torn between the TOPs Xcest Delta, and the TOPs/Buck CSAR folder.

I need a robust, indestructible knife without breaking the bank. Both of these have similar blade length, blade thickness (.18,.19), and great grip. However, I must say that I do like the Rocky Mountain Tread that the TOPs/Buck has. Either way, does anyone have any experience with either?

*As a side note, I will be purchasing the Combat Ready Knives C.U.M.A Beast. It's a super affordable AUS-8 robust knife I've heard a lot about. Won't be a primary knife, but definitely one to test out.

Thanks,
-Jim

No first hand experience but I will say I have heard the csar is a tank in hand...

I will also say, I have a Kizlyar Ute that is (only) 0.125" thick, and it is well built, over buikd, robust and sturdy, with a double thick liner lock from standard knives, and I would be absolutely surprised if it broke outside of absolute shear hard abuse... (esp. considering it has a mini pry tool in the handle, to save the tip from unnecessary prying, but even still the tip is well designed).

What are you looking to do with the knife? Because thick knives aren't always the best slicers.
