First Hawk up is an American Tomahawk First Edition LaGana Hawk "VTAC". This is NOT the copy currently being reproduced by Cold Steel. Detail shows stamped "FIRST EDITION 2001".
Peter LaGana is considered to be the pioneer of the modern tactical tomahawk. His designs go back to the Vietnam War. This model was produced prior to changing over to the oval nylon handle. I purchased this hawk from a collector with the Eagle USA nylon sheath. The hawk and sheath are unused. Hawk head wiped with Tuffcloth prior to storage.

Next up is a current production Limited Edition version of the LaGana Tactical Tomahawk with nylon sling. I'm not sure how many were issued or if they are still being produced. I purchased this about a year ago. Hawk head wiped with Tuffcloth prior to storage.
