I've never made such small knives, but had a blast making these! I've been experimenting with fixed blades that could be carried inside the pocket in lieu of a pocket knife or folder. This is my latest experiment!
Just one note. Just because these are small, do not think they're small on performance! I heat treated these with the same standards I heat treat my hard use knives! They come with a laser sharp blade and are ready to go to work!
Knife #1 is a pointy little thing. Flats were sanded and then gun blued several times to get that almost black appearance. Swedge is not sharpened but close. Handles are Toxic and Black G10 with G10 liner. Comes wth a Kydex sheath.
Knife #2 *SOLD* is a Nessmuch design. Handles are Stabilized & Dyed Buckeye Burl. Awesome handles! Comes with a leather sheath. Knife is designed to be either carried in the pocket or around the neck by a lanyard with the connection through the thong hole.
Here's the specs:
Steel: 1/8" Aldo's 1084 High Carbon Steel (about .130)
Handles: Knife #1 has Toxic Green & Black G10. Knife #2 has Stabilized Buckeye Burl with Hi Tech Red Liner
Hardware: (Both knives) 1/4" Mosaic Pin with Stainless Steel Thong Tube
Blade Length: Knife #1 is 1 7/8" from tip to front of handles and Knife #2 is 2" from tip to front of handles.
OAL: (Both Knives) 4 1/8"
