Congratulations on the new baby, you never mention all this time about you expected a baby, absolutely family first and I hope all is going well and in good health!
 
John made up this knife a while back, early this year. He sent it out to have the sheath made which took a long extended time to come back to him.

It arrived today, the belt loop side is black leather and the outer side which everyone sees is black shark skin. The Black Shark skin is spectacular.

John did a beautiful job on both the recurve blade and gorgeous workmanship of the red and gray box elder burl. :) The box elder burl looks even better in real life :)

The fit and finish is top of the line IMO, with not one blemish or scratch anywhere on the knife :thumbup: the knife arrived in mint condition.

Nice grinds, they both are outstanding I really like the larger of the two. :thumbup:
