2 nail nicks

Here's another one

That green color is very unique! I like it! Does it have a name that you’re aware of?

Not actually mine, but a pic I found on the web in a 'sold' listing from years ago. Apparently A.G.R. had produced this one (via Camillus) in the 1970s, according to the listing. I'd also seen these advertised in A.G.R.'s catalogs back in the '90s or so, and was always tempted. Never pulled the trigger though.
Here's one I found on fleaBay recently. Camillus-made for A.G.R. One heck of a knife, and the shield and double nicks just add to its charm, IMO. In case you can't judge the scale adequately from this pic, OAL is about a half an inch over a GEC 97 - she's a big 'un!!

Very nice.

As with so many of the knives listed in A.G.R.'s catalogs back in the day, there's another one that I still sometimes kick myself for passing up.

Tony Bose even did a few nail nick/pull combo's
The match striker makes sence but I don't like the looks of it.
It's like wearing braces and a belt on your pants

I dislike the double nail nicks, and I dislike the match strike nail nicks that Rough Ryder feels like they have to put on EVERY knife.
So that is double gross for me, and I don't plan to buy any with this feature. I have actually seen some really cool patterns that they ruined by putting the double nail nick on that otherwise I probably would have jumped on (specifically a couple of the Black Appaloosa knives)
You have a hard time finding strike anywhere matches any more so they don't really serve a purpose, the match strike pulls prevent me from getting a good purchase in the nick, they tear your nails up, AND they are bad about getting stuff in the little grooves when you cut food and stuff. The only thing worse that match strike pulls is two of them 😏
