2 New Damascus Petties

Here are my 2 latest petties. The first one is made from Delbert Ealy Lizard pattern damascus in O-1/L6 and pure nickel. Blade length is 180mm, handle is 132mm made from stabilized Redwood burl with red fiber/copper/red fiber spacers and a African Blackwood ferrule. overall is 322mm. Steel is 60-61Rc. Price is $350 shipped to your door.

Second is another Petty made from Delbert's Spider pattern damascus in O-1 and pure nickel. Blade length is 180mm, handle is 134mm and is made from stabilized Buckeye burl with copper/antler/copper spacers and a African Blackwood ferrule. Over all on this one is 324mm. HT to 60-61Rc. Price is $350 shipped to your door.

Pardon my lack of knowledge, but can Damascus be "used hard" or will it ruin? Also, awesome blades. Reminds me of nunchucks! :)
 
Thanks for the kind replies guys :) Damascus can, and should be encouraged to be used hard :) These are intended to be every day use knives.
