2 new knives, 1st fuzz sticks & flowers

My son and I got a chance to take a short hike today. Neither of us has much experience making fuzz sticks, so, we took along my two new knives to get some practice.
The knives are a Stephen Osborne necker with cocobolo handle and a Mike Adams EDC with natural micarta handle. My son took a shine to the Osborne. I don't think I am going to see much of that knife for a while.
Dose anyone recognize the yellow flowers?
