I am pleased to announce the current availability of two "sprint" models.

The "Spur" Sprint is a remake of the original Spur. Changes from the original model include;

The stainless handle is a little thinner overall
The knife is a little lighter overall
The Kraton insert is gray instead of black
The clip is an all stainless clip (CoPilot length) tip down RH only (no Kraton in the clip)
The 2-1/16" blade is hollow ground VG-10 instead of GIN-1
The knife is available in plain edge or combination plain/serrated

We only made 1200 pieces. It is a one shot Sprint run.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Wayne Goddard "Sprint" is a remake of the original FRN version. Changes from the original version include;

The FRN handle is gray instead of black. (The gray color was selected by Wayne. He picked up a pieces of forged steel flakes When we were at the Ed Schempp "Hammer in" and said "match this". We send the steel flakes to Seki to be matched).

The L/R tip up clip is bead blasted.

The hollow ground blade is VG-10 instead of ATS-55

The model is available in plain edge or combination plain/serrated

We only made 1200 pices. It is a one shot "Sprint" run.

Kelly (our Sales manager) says I'm getting better at keeping new products a secret ;)

Sal,

One of the 1200 Spurs will find a home with me :D .

Congrats on your new found discretion. Waiting for the yojimbo has caused me to break out in hives.

This is the old model, but you should get the 'picture' ;-)

Currently available...where? Couldn't find it at the online store.
Been looking forward to getting a new Goddard!
Thanks for making it :D

Hi Steven. Yes & yes

Owen, we're just announcing the availability over the next few days. Our dealers should be getting them mid next week as will our store. you should be able to order one from your regular dealer. Thanx for wanting one.

Harry, there should be no turning problem, both the well and clip have been modified. We really didn't have much of a turning prpoblem with the Goddard model.

A VG-10 Goddard! Sal, you are the man! I sold my old, well-worn FRN Goddard to a buddy in a weak moment, and I have been meaning to replace it ever since.

I may have to have one of each blade style! :D

Great news Sal! Been looking forward to the Spur since I first heard of the sprint run, as I've not been able to find an original one in plain edge. Got luckier with the Goddard Lightweight, snagged one of the last ones JFJ had, but the grey FRN, bead blasted clip, and VG-10 makes the "sprint" version a "must have" too. Sounds like it will make a nice companion piece for my grey Calypso Jr.

A PE Goddard is one that I’m sorry I missed out on - thanks for the second chance!
